The twin purposes of Porkulus Mark I and Porkulus Mark II (coming to your neighborhood in about twenty minutes) are (1) to reward the individuals and organizations that put the Mutt in the White House, and (2) to soften up the country for the coup de grâce: an undisguised Marxist takeover, which can only take place after we've been brought to our knees economically and our social order has disintegrated.
Can we stop it, or reverse it once it happens? Defiant posturing notwithstanding, we may have lost the national gumption (we've certainly lost the people) that saved Europe, won the war in the Pacific, took us to the moon, and dropkicked Jimmuh Cretin after one wretched term.
