She is single, jobless – and the world’s most talked-about mother.
Now for the first time, octuplets mum Nadya Suleman tells her amazing story in her own words – and reveals how she plans to raise 14 children as a lone parent and with so many eyes watching her.
Nadya, 33, made headlines around the globe with her amazing multiple birth. But it has been far from plain sailing.
Today she reveals how:
* She has not had sex since before she had her first baby by IVF seven years ago.
* She has received 500 death threats.
* All 14 children have the same sperm donor dad – whom she has not spoken to since the octuplets’ birth.
* She desperately prayed for her eight tots as they battled to survive in her womb.
* The road ahead is made even harder as one of her older children is autistic while two others have learning difficulties.
While growing up, Nadya longed for a large family. Now she vows the octuplets will be her final births.
Nadya insists: “I’m done having children now. My family is complete and I would not change anything.”
Little Noah, Malia, Isaiah, Nariah, McCai, Josiah, Jeremiah and Jonah arrived nearly
two months prematurely just over two weeks ago.
They will spend another month in hospital, where one is having treatment for jaundice, before going home with her.
She accepts that is when the hard work will really start. Nadya admits: “I can give love and attention to the older six, but I’m anticipating problems when the others arrive. The most challenging aspect for me will be learning to accept help from volunteers. I’m a control freak, you see. But I’ll have to accept help.

Now media is claiming her mother was paid 40K to "trash" her daughter.
I will always be strongly pro-life, but if we are going to allow abortions, we should also abort the irresponsible mother as well. This woman certainly makes a strong case for that.

500 death threats? That’s really over the top, no matter what she has done. That’s more than President Obama has gotten!
What a sorry state of affairs it is when our culture glorifies idiots like this and pays them money. Meanwhile, I think of the widow out there that might have five or six children, or even eight. She did things the traditional way, the right way, the way that is most beneficial to our society, yet she has no one offering HER money for HER story. I’d like to see these people written about - their courage and their ability to continue on. This lady just makes me sick, really sick.

I have pity for her because I think she needs help and all she is getting from society, even Christian pro-lifers, is hate. It’s indicative of the strong anti-child society we have become.
I hope her community comes forward to help her. When you help the mother you help the children.

i agree about helping the children. maybe there could be a conservator, to oversee financial decisions made by the mother, in the future, with donations, etc.
People who have compassion for others are not loons, it’s the people who hate who are the loons.
The babies are here. If you try to take them away from her by force you will be starting a precedent to take children away from other mothers’ by force.
A more constructive thing to do is to go after the “doctor” who endangered her life by putting so many embryos into her uterus. Apparently he has been doing this to other women as well. This lady is just the tip of the iceberg. I wouldn’t be surprised if they go after his medical license.

those that are compassionate, i would say are loons.
The welfare state in America started 70 years ago. When they put it in place can you really blame the weak of society who take advantage of it? Shouldn’t the real blame be put on the politicians who created the welfare state to begin with? Shouldn’t new policies restrict welfare to only a temporary hand up instead of a permanent hand out?
This lady is just symptomatic of bigger issues we face as a nation.
