What ever happened to laws concerning treason ?

Are our lawmakers above the law? (dumb question, I guess)

If a Senator violates the Logan Act and then helps
the other side against America, they/she is bound
by the laws of the Enemy, rather than the US Constitution
they all swore to uphold. The DOJ agrees and sees no problem with that.

Of course they’re above the law. They also don’t pay taxes, get the best health care, fly in private jets and have their own exclusive retirement program.
