I never said anything about abortion.

I did say it is obvious she is not mentally or physically capable of giving 14 children proper care.
(not to mention her inability to provide for them financially)
She’s not courageous - she’s just plain mentally unbalanced and no doubt foolish and stupid to boot.

And just imagine - her and her 14 kids in her parents modest 3 bedroom home - what was she thinking?

As far as her “rights” as a parent -
What about the rights of the children to have proper care?

I brought up abortion because she refused it due to courage. She was pressured very hard to kill some of them, but refused. It takes a special kind of courage to carry and birth multiples, even twins or triplets can risk the mother’s own health and life, much less eight. The fact that they all survived too is testament to some courage there, to eat well and take care of herself so they would have the best chances to survive.

I agree she probably has issues but are you going to take this case and use it as a precedent to take away all the children of millions of women today who also have “issues” in the days of Godless feminism and family disharmony?

It’s still too early to tell whether she will be able to properly care for the children once they are home. It would be fine by me if she were offered counselling and legal help to consider adopting some of the children out. She might even agree once the real work starts for her round the clock in caring for them and she might realize herself at that point that it’s impossible to go on and make her own decision for adoption. However she cannot be FORCED to do any of this, or you will open the door for the government to come in and do the same thing to other families, maybe even to your own relatives.

What about the situation where a woman gets pregnant with twins or triplets and the husband is so overwhelmed he leaves the woman and finds someone else. Will you take one of the twins away or two of the triplets away from the woman because there isn’t a man in the picture and she might get overwhelmed? Who makes these decisions in what should be a private situation?

I think it’s odd that the same people who wanted Terri Schiavo murdered are also the same people making death threats against this poor woman. There is an oppressive cloud of hate toward people who might be dependent on someone else for their care. Last time I looked dependence on another was not a mortal sin.
