Barry Diller, in 2001 he married fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg. He is a life-long Democrat and supporter of progressive causes.

It’s important to realize that people actually believe the crap that comes out of their mouths.

It has been reported elsewhere that the House Republics were not permitted by Nancy Pelosi to offer ammendments to the bill. Given that they were shut out completely is it any surprise that none supported the bill? Does the Republican reaction to this provocation by the Speaker amount to “insurgency”? Whew! That’s some ignorance on display along with some really overheated rhetoric.

No, pathetic is screwing the American people for the last 6 years with massive pork barrel spending to the tune of 1 trillion dollars. Live with it deal with it and be sure to remind your children and grandchildren who did it.

Time to build a track record of supply sider economics along the lines of Reagan the Great. Only time and a solid record of voting will heal the GOP’s credibility... Looking forward to their resurrection...

About friggen time.....but may be way too late...

Tina Brown is an outright LIAR because Republicans did sumbit an alternative plan. Tina Brown calls herself "nonpartisan" yet she uses the word insurgents in describing Republicans. Correct on everything! What a witch! The Lefties have no honesty, ergo they can't see their image in the mirrors. I'll bet she supports Obama's sneaky Executive Order of this past Saturday, that funds the relocation of Hamas members and their families to the US!

In the current vernacular, an insurgent is a terrorist.

Remember, the press won’t use the term terrorist.

If the press is going to use the term insurgent instead, then they can’t toss it around indiscriminately.

Brown shows her shallow nature, by this unfortunate choice of words. It was a major slander.

I’ve got a better plan. Make the Bush tax cuts permanent, add some more tax cuts now, including capital gains, remove that stupid law of Carter/Clinton that forces banks to make bad loans, and let the markets adjust on their own.

That would result in some very rocky times for the next few years. But Obama’s plan is likely to make the Great Depression permanent. (Yes, I know, we already had a Great Depression, but I think history will change the names after Obama gets through with his insane destruction of our country, of which he is probably not even a citizen.)

In general, the Leftie non-elite are ignorant, misguided, and foolish. However, someone like Tina who is called upon by a news network as a spokesperson for their side is much more insidious. She knows exactly what she is saying, and knows that she can get away with it. Shame on Fox for using her.

What Sarah Palin Didn’t Say
by Tina Brown

There was one subject we didn’t hear enough about in Part One of the Alaskan governor’s media blitz.

So far the interviews with Sarah Palin in her TV media blitz have failed to answer the only question I’m interested in: Now that it’s all over, Sarah, who does look after the kids?

I could never see a shot of the dynamite-looking Palin sashaying out to greet the crowd in those borrowed gladrags without thinking of what it must be like backstage.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2008-11-11/what-sarah-palin-didnt-say/

~~~
Here is an example of the situation in America,” he (author Tom Wolfe) says: “Tina Brown wrote in her column that she was at a dinner where a group of media heavyweights were discussing, during dessert, what they could do to stop Bush. Then a waiter announces that he is from the suburbs, and will vote for Bush. And ... Tina’s reaction is: ‘How can we persuade these people not to vote for Bush?’
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2004/nov/01/uselections2004.books
~~~

She is the MOST offensive beast of The Daily Beast.

” I’m sick that Roger Ailes has permitted her on FNC. “

Cavuto (Stuart Varney filling in, actually) has been an almost unbroken parade of rabid libs...

Sickening....

So when when will it be OK to become insurgents?

Do I get a rifle out of the deal? Free firearms - you can call me anything you want :-)

Aren’t insurgents good? I mean the left wing cheered for them in Iraq.

An insurgency is a rebellion against a constituted authority (for example an authority recognised as such by the United Nations) when those taking part in the rebellion are not recognised as belligerents

A general definition from good old Wicked Pedia.

Yesterday the greatest question was decided which ever was debated in America; and a greater perhaps never was, nor will be, decided among men. A resolution was passed without one dissenting colony, “that these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent States.”

John Adams 2 July 1776
UNITE, OR DIE.

I disagree, but I do think there are folks who will agree with you.

I’ve watched Tina Brown on Red Eye. She’s just a young clueless individual. She’s not the nasty vitriolic lame brain leftist type that we are all familiar with.

That doesn’t excuse her actions. She deserves to be taken to task for them. I just don’t see here as sinister as you do.

Pete Sessions said the Republicans could follow the Taliban and insurgency may be required when dealing with the Dems in Congress. She’s probably making a snide reference to that.
