Agree with one slight change to your statement:

But, I think, in truth, the Dems WANT the country to completely fail so THE ONESOCIALIST MASTERS of Obama can take over.

I made the change to your commentary because I don't believe "Zero" is anything more or less than a Marionette for the Socialist/Commie movement. He's being lauded by the CPUSA I have read multiple times, and the course he is taking....Doesn't take a Colombo to figure it out does it.

This economy has been crashed on purpose. What has happened
here is unconscionable. There are people who should be tried
for treason.

Agree. Not an accident. A crime scene.

All we need is one really good crisis. They’re doing their best to manufacture one on multiple fronts; the economy and national security to name a couple.

I wish more people understood what’s happening. How can we get the word to the general population. MTV? American Idol?

America was just taken hostage and half the country does not seem to care.

We don’t know how many ‘toxic mortgages’ are ‘out there’. Even the banks that bought them don’t know which is which, there is simply no way to tell.

The entire system is based on property values, and ‘confidence’ in the stockmarkets, not the same thing but irrevocably linked, as siblings. ONe catches a cold, the other begins to sneeze. ONe gets a deadly illness, the other begins to die as well.

Once you shake an entire nation’s confidence in its own banking and economic systems, it takes years if not decades to rebuild that trust. Think about our grandparents that NEVER AGAIN trusted a bank after living through the 1930’s, for example. Then consider the children of those seniors, who are going to live with what happend to their parents for the rest of their lives, and pass THAT on to their kids.

We’ve NEVER had this before. In 1929,we knew what the problem was, but the FDR programs and more importantly the actions of the Federal Reserve made it WORSE, extended the depression for years beyond what it could have been. The 1920 Depression (yes, we had a DEPRESSION in 1920 folks, bet you didn’t know that eh?) recovered because the Federal Government and the Fed Reserve Stayed Out of IT. Busienss brought about the recovery from that, and we don’t hear about because it undermines the liberal myth FDR saved us from the ‘Great Depression’.

Bottom line: Nobody knows what will result from this recession. Our new administration is playing the historical odds that say it will last around 18 months, with an eye on the 2010 mid terms.

The problem is this isn’t you ‘usual historical recession’.

Even I don’t think it was ‘on purpose’.

That said, when the Congress forced banks and mortgage company’s to exchange credit scores and basic math for social engineering when granting loans, this was inevitable.

I’d like to beat Barney Frank and Chris Dodd with a ballbat at this point to be honest.

The rush is because the Democrats know that they have the opportunity to push this nation straight into socialism and closer to communism without anyone being able to do a thing about it.

The Democrats have no intention of trying to save this economy. Its all about ruining capitalism and handing control of everything to the government controlled by them.

“Why the rush to ruin economy?”

To stampede the panicked dolts into the chains of Communist slavery.

The rush is to consolidate power, not help the economy.

What we are witnessing is the constitutional republic version of a coup d’etat, for with passage of the rat bill, they will never relinquish power.

"Why the rush to ruin an economy?"

Because given their head, that is what politicians do.

Intelligent non-politicians know that deciding to do nothing is also a decision, and often the best one.

You are so right. constitutional republic version of a coup d’etat

In reality, it is a communist coup d'etat... without a shot being fired.
