You know, I’m just thinking ahead here. Phoning, faxing an e-mailing is not going to work this time, because Zero is going to continue his strong arm approach until we are left with nothing. What other recourse do we have? What do we have left to do to send a MUCH stronger message to Congress and the White House?

I am so pissed. My husband was considering retiring next year, but with this, he will not be able to because of the healthcare issues.

Steele cannot stop the three from being senators. He can't even strip them of their committee spots. The Republican leadership in the Senate can.
What I have been promoting on other threads I will try and formulate into a post later (My first). However, my elderly father is in the hospital and I won't be on FR much for a couple of days.
Here is the option I would like to see promoted by Freepers.
1. Email and write hard copy letters to the RNC denouncing the actions of Snowe, Specter, and Collins. Ask a response on what will be done for their actions.

2. Copy and send email and snail mail the letter the state Republican Chair of Maine and Pennsylvania and then copy it to each state head. It will only cost a buck or two in stamps.

3. Then, email your letter to each of the state reps all the way down to the county chairman. Copy the letter to their local paper.

You cannot hold the senators accountable by emailing them, they don't care. But when you ask the entire support system for these RINO’s to be accountable, you have created a firestorm that will get their attention as they have to stop their base from throwing them out.

Please, keep your letters free from emotion, invective, and hostility. These can be dismissed by the people receiving them as the work of kooks. Instead be rational.

Here is a good line to take: If massive government spending was good for the economy, if massive centralized planning was good for the economy, if flooding the market with currency was good for the economy, why did the Soviet Union implode? Why isn't East Germany the crown jewel of Western Civilization?
If socialism has failed every single time it has been tried for the past one hundred years, why did these three Republican Senators, who should have known better, think it would work here?

Good luck. I hope you will spread the word on this tactic of getting their attention. I will do this myself on Saturday or Sunday if my father is released from the hospital.
