The liberal answer to this is to train him on how to steal cars without being caught...problem solved - that simple.

Don’t laugh, Israel loaded up the Palestinians with tons of guns so that Arafat could thwart terrorism directed at Israel...can anyone guess how those guns got used?

...and they’re running the country now.

Start stacking the sentences. Separate sentences for each thing stolen -- stacked.

For the front-end loader they should be able to get him five years, just for that. Another six for the auto burglaries. That's eleven years. He'll be gone for five, even if he earns good time.

Does N.M. have a "three strikes" or "habitual criminal" law?

Sounds like they need more prison beds in any case.

Mcain would say he's just doing what he does best!!

He might be good at the stealing part, but he is really liking in the getting away part. Perhaps they have a get away course in the stimulus bill.

A-10s and armed predator drones patrolling the border sounds good to me. A few well aimed warning shots should cause them to rethink crossing.

Since I’m a reasonable man, I’m even willing to give them 10 or 20 yards of leeway on our side of the border. We can avoid mistakes that way.

He sounds like a good source of information. Find out from him where the holes are in the fence that he easily exploited, and plug them. If he wont tell, waterboard(or something).

In theory, but it is so restrictive that a guy with 3 murders won't qualify except under certain circumstances. We've been trying to get a good one for years, but the Dim pols in Santa Fe always block it.

“He was actually deported to Mexico, but he crossed the border illegally and started stealing vehicles again,”

10 years in a barbed wire compound, eating bologna sandwiches and living in a tent. Then deport them.
