We have people that have lived here for decades who don’t consider themselves Americans. And if they don’t consider themselves Americans then neither do I.
A little different to someone having been born in a country where his father and maybe even his grandfather was born.
My point was that some of these young Muslims can trace their roots back several generations in the UK. They never used to be trouble makers. During the riots in the late 70s., most of the problems were caused by West Indians.
It never fails to amaze me that since 9/11, Muslims, instead of being looked on with suspicion, are treated with kid gloves - both here and in the UK.
