Here’s a video of the pretender in chief handshaking the Marine- he did salute him first- then couldn’t resist handshaking. Maybe next time he meets the JCS - a group hug?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaicB4aelfQ
He stoped to shake hands with the marine standing guard at the door of Marine One. O is so over his head.
One more.
Another observation... check out how hopey changey lopes when he walks! LOL! That up and down movement of his head is ridiculous! I can't tell you how many recruits have been slapped on the back of the head by the Drill Instructor to "Level Out" when walking... LOL!
“I saw where he stopped and shook hands with the marine on station before boarding Marine One instead of returning the marines salute. The marine had this WTF? look on his face. No smiles, just WTF?”
Not true, he saluted him well then turned back to him and shook his hand.
I’m glad he’s enjoying his “spiffy” ride. Meanwhile thousands of people are still without power from the ice storm and without heat. Couldn’t we have just bought the boy president a new spiffy set of LEGOS instead of giving him the WH and AF1?
He should grow up and act like a president rather than like some 10 year old spoiled brat.
LOL You’re on a roll.
“taken ahead to locations where president might be touring disaster areas”
Mmmmm...Barry might make it to Kentucky by the spring thaw...
Uh, Barry would like a little bling with his ride. How about a little coke to snort in the back of his limo too?
” I told the commandant of marines, I know its customary for the president to receive these salutes, but I was once an officer and realize that youre not supposed to salute when youre in civilian clothes. I think there ought to be a regulation that the president could return a salute inasmuch as he is commander in chief and civilian clothes are his uniform.
With more than four years as an officer in the army reserves followed by 4 years as an officer in the active duty army, Reagan definitely knew something about saluting.
Though the clip on the news last night did not show the salute but picked up a split second before the handshake.
I haven't yet heard anyone with military experience say how cool it is to have a Commanderr in Chief who wants to be your buddy. Maybe at the State of Union address he'll stop and give the JCS a group hug
We call ours the "Wobbly Hog"
The New Air Force One....ROFL!!!

Oh, thank you for that information, Silverleaf. It makes a lot of sense.
What an embarrassment.
