What the heck is with liberals, anyway?

They’re in favor of higher taxes, but not in favor of paying them?

Seems strange to me.

I personally know lots of liberals that have this exact attitude.

It's entertaining to ask them about it, and listen to their answers. I file the answers mentally for times such as these. :-)

The liberal wants to tax you and not him or her self. Why else would the liberal believe he or she should tell others how to live their lives but not how the liberal lives his or hers. Examples are: Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Michael Moore and Hillary Clinton.

Liberals: in favor of higher taxes, but not in favor of paying them

Great formula! Absolutely true.

Seems strange to you because you can’t “think liberal”.

The basis of their worldview is elitism, and the elites must have the “flexibility” to ignore the rules they impose on others.

It’s not strange if you realize that the whole Demonrat game plan is based on forcible income transfers, otherwise known as theft. The intent all along was that productive, hard-working Americans would be robbed to pay off the Demons’ welfare clientele, plus the “dictators of the proletariat” themselves (Demonrat politicians and the rest of the new elite).

It’s the old “Do as I say, not as I do,” routine.
