Your attack of BDS notwithstanding, every article I have seen seems to indicate that it has something to do with the prison system or their rules. I'm just looking for the real reason from someone who knows the real reason.

I'm just looking for the real reason from someone who knows the real reason. The president's power to pardon is almost absolute. There is no need to run it by the Justice Dept or anyone else.
