Surprised? A little surprised the pols haven’t rushed to bail out the credit card companies yet.

If I get laid off (could be weeks from it, who knows) and it’s an extended period, at some point the credit card will be the one I don’t pay. I’ll call them and negotiate but they are evil and I will return the favor. I figure by then there will be so many people in my shoes that I will be a mere blip on the radar. Besides, what I owe them is such a small amount in the grand scheme I won’t be worth coming after. I figure everyone’s credit score is going to be in the minus column anyway, eventually. Do I sound grim? LOL.

...article wondering why Americans have not rioted yet while there were protests and riots in many other countries(including developed countries,) due to economic crisis. Well, they don't know that it may take a while but when Americans blow, it will be big.

Rioting is ghetto stuff - most Americans will figure it out, change stupid laws, put their money where their mouth is, and throw the bums out who caused the problems. ( by law and vote). In short, there's still a good chance we'll figure it out.
