Hey, we appointed 7 of those 9 justices, and McCain voted for three of the worst. What do you mean? LOL

The armed revolution is quickly approaching and those fools in the District of Corruption are asking for it.

It’s amazing, just this month all of my pistols and semi autos are lost. I only have bolt action rifles and revolvers. Honest...

Thanks I just thought of this and emailed Dr. Orly Taitz of the idea, with links to 2nd Amendment Foundation, NRA article and 2nd Amendment lawyers. Will also forward to Berg.

I believe there could be a team approach to getting Obama’s gun laws reversed and him gone.

Your answer is sort-of-yes-&-no...

By Federal law, you fill out a 4473 form for a background check and the transfer is in the “bound book” of the dealer making the transfer (new firearm or firearm transfered over state lines or a used gun purchased from a licensed dealer). The dealer keeps this record and turns it into the ATF when he/she gives up their firearms license.

The government is forbidden to compile this data into a defacto registration system... The FBI was caught doing just that though...

Do they have a way to trace a firearm at least to the original purchaser? Yes.

Do they know every transfer of every firearm and have ready data on the location of firearms and their owners? No.

I don't think this is going to be any big deal yet!. However it would behoove anyone who ownes a firearm to join the NRA or check out, righttokeepandbeararms.com I believe there will be a time, likely in the near future a warning and assembly order given as it was in 1775. The American constitution must be protected. Millions of current and former Military took an oath to do just that, and that is an oath for life, which doesn't end upon discharge/release from the military. It is very possible those in power will attempt to change the American constitution, they must fail. Contacting your elected official seems to be a wasted effort, they seem more concirned about their jobs then they do to those who elected them. United we will stand, divided we will fall, so talk to your neighbors, friends and family, Be prepared.

All the ATF has to do is suspend or revoke existing licenses and they’ll have all the records they ever wanted.

Me too. I looked and looked and all I could find was a 12GA turkey gun and an old WWII British bolt action rifle. Even my trebuchet has disappeared.

The NRA will soon learn that those b@$t@rd @$$ democrats that they so quickly endorsed for reelection(like John Barrow in GA) will desert them like rats from a sinking ship. They will go right along with whatever Nancy Pelosi tells them to do.

How’s Obambi going to get the gangs to register their automatic weapons?

ACORN will be in charge of that.

Time to put their mettle where their mouth is? Let’s do what we can to help them hold the line. We can afford no more “third way” compromises with the devil.

I’ll second that. He ain’t prez. Just a usurper. We don’t have to follow unconstitutional rules anyway, no matter who is in The White House. The Constitution is the law. Heck the way things are going, I might want to hang up a framed copy of The Constitution. And maybe a second unframed copy to bitterly cling to along with my religion, guns, ammo, and incandescent lightbulbs. Cheers!

Anyone not yet a member...check out NRA.org. Consider joining. Zero concerns me so much I extended my membership 5 years right after the election.

Hey if the increased number of NRA members makes some anti-gunner government libtard think twice about infringing further on our rights, it’s worth the price of membership.

Remember they really really don’t want to lose elections. They hate losing elections way more than they hate guns in the hands of law abiding citizens.

Yes, the gun control (aka Crime Stimulus) legislation should follow right behind the Economic Stimulus (aka productivity control) bill...which came only shortly after the birth control executive orders, soon to be followed by a speech control (Fairness Doctrine), energy options control, health care control, etc.

What would we do without the “Providers”?
(geek test)

Isn’t a gun registered when it is purchased... At the risk of flogging this horse just a bit too much....

In California, all handguns are registered at time of purchase (and you're supposed to register your handguns when you move into the state).

Long guns are not currently subject to state registration--just the federal form 4473 as pointed out by many other posters.
