"Sarkozy is right to be afraid of us," says Marine, a 22-year-old student and member of the League of Communist Revolutionaries in Toulouse.
"We are the ones who are going to break the rules and the control of the old system. We are the new alternative".
Across Europe, victims of the economic slump who are losing their jobs in their tens of thousands are furious that public money is being doled out to the banks.
In some countries, they are more willing to vent their anger.
As huge crowds took to the streets across France this week, in a national day of protests and strikes, the far left points to a boost in the number of its supporters in times of financial gloom.
The French communist movement has remained a significant political force even in the decades when their cause was less than fashionable abroad.

the far left points to a boost in the number of its supporters in times of financial gloom. They haven't a clue as to the cause of their misery.

Sounds familiar doesn't it. Quote: "We are the ones we've been waiting for." in Obama's Super Tuesday Speech. Change and Hope.

They’re always protesting something or going on strike in France. Rest of western Europe and UK are like this as well.
On a side note, it is endlessly depressing to see western Europe being destroyed by “diversity” and political correctness.

I like to take all my philosophical and economic advice from a 22 year old leftist.
I mean after all, they’re so smart, so worldly and wise. They done so much, they know so much, they’re so practical and pragmatic.

As I used to say in my lectures to the police and other law enforcement officials, if the riot gets violent, shoot the first three rows of protestors. You will kill the front fools and the communist agitators in the third row.
The rest will flee like roaches from a light.
Got my a lot of reinforcement on this tactic from the former gov/then Premier of Cambodia, In Tam, who, when faced with a Sihanouk/communist rioting mob in Central Cambodia, had his troops open fire on them. No problems after that.
He guaranteed my safety no matter where I went in his area.
Now that is my kind of guy.

"We are seeing a radicalisation, perhaps the beginning of a very big movement. I am not a clairvoyant, but I live in France, I have a lot of contacts with a wide range of people and it's not just leftists, not just militants who cannot accept the injustice. Inequality is growing in Europe and inequality is always the cause of revolt". Sound familar?
If you are a student of European history it does. The same rhetoric could have been lifted from any politican speaking in the mid 30's after the victory of the Popular Front The names and faces are different but the tired ideological ideas and hackneyed phrases are the same.

"All three campaigners stress the need to forge an effective alliance between the workers and with the downtrodden youth of the suburbs because, as they put it, "that's what the government fears the most". "
Useful idiots of the muzzies. Don't they realize the muzzies will kill them when they are no longer useful?
