For the record, I'm one of the signers.

This is how we got McLame, and eventually Obama who fully supports all types of abortion.

Great job there...(sarcasm)

Not sure what to make of this, but it sounds like we’re turning on our own. Or, out of confusion and a feeling of impotence we’re purging our own because that’s all the power we feel we have left. No control over anything else, so let’s attack our own. I dunno.

Wrong. In the first instance, "we" "got McLame" because of constant compromises of principle by the weak sisters who are known as the "leaders" of the conservative movement.

Fine. Enjoy the new cycle of compromise and deception.

I don’t mean what you said, only the cannibalism and holier than thou anti-abortion purism evidenced in this post. If Human Events goes this way it will be an erratically published 8 page xeroxed flyer within two years.

the last election cycle, using your stated viewpoint?

the best man for the job you trash, you got McLame, and now you have a man in the Whitehouse that fully supports not just partical birth abortion, but exporting it around the world.

How’d that work out?

Romney is “far left” and “radical”?
Maybe not everyone’s ideal but IMO, that’s just silly.

This is B.S. crap. It is turning on our own and I would not listen to anything ALan Keyes says or the guy that heads the “Independent” party. Idiots like these two morons is how the party was split and allowed Zero to walk into the Whitehouse. No thanks here.

There are people “inside the beltway” and “outside the beltway.”

The Human Events editor cited in this story is inside and those disagreeing are on the outside.

I’m no fan of Romney or Thompson, but I accept them in the room just the same.

The facts presented against them I don’t doubt, but do we go after Human Events about it.

This may be going too far in criticizing.

Are we going to do a news release about Ann Coulter’s “hidden liberalism” next?

How do you figure? He was the most liberal governor in the history of the country. The father of gay marriage, the homosexualization of state government and the public schools, socialized medicine complete with $50 taxpayer-subsidized abortions, a permanent “assault” weapons ban, etc.

If that isn’t far left and radical, nothing is, and you might as well be an Obama supporter.

Ann blew it this most recent election just like most of the “leaders” of the conservative movement. Her performance when it comes to Romney was appalling to watch. I was embarrassed for her.

Wow. A lot of names that I don’t recognize. And Alan Keyes, the idiot who helped give Obama his Senate seat. Yeah, I think I’ll listen to him.

For a couple of decades, Human Events and its editors were among the few you could always count on to hold the line without compromise. That changed under Babbin. They have been pretty much useless in the battles of the last two years. That’s why I signed the letter.

Me either, I’ll wait and ask Ann Coulter.

Not only what you said:

Interesting that this post runs immediately under another that chastises Obama for his "attack on Rush Limbaugh".
...shouldn't we leave double standards to the other guys?
...aren't we in deeper water than any one issue represents?
...does anyone actually believe that "Babbin and other writers at Human Events such as Ann Coulter, David Limbaugh and John Gizzi" have gone over to the dark side?
