Since I am an avid chessplayer, Stevens reminds me a little of Bobby Fischer, another person who contributed to his field but then turned his back on his country.
Wild World. I also like "The First Cut is the Deepest" although Rod Stewart and Sheryl Crowe's versions are more well known.
