Washington, DC -- Barack Obama promised during the presidential campaign that he wanted to reduce abortions and said as much in a statement yesterday in association with the anniversary of Roe. Today, however, he betrayed that promise by forcing taxpayers to fund groups promoting and performing abortions overseas.
In an executive order, the president officially scrapped the Mexico City Policy that protected taxpayers from involvement in overseas abortions for eight years. Now, Obama will send hundreds of millions of dollars to groups that aggressively promote abortions on a worldwide scale.
Obama was slated to overturn on Thursday the protections President Bush put back in place following the Clinton administration, but Obama decided to wait.
He hoped his decision today to force taxpayers to fund foreign abortions will somehow make him seem less radical because he decided to wait until after the pro-life movement mourned the thirty-sixth anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

He stopped the trials of terrorists (which the 911 families aren’t happy about) but he’ll fund abortions?

While I’m against abortion, I wish we’d have funded them for the Arab world the last 50 or 60 years.
So much for “choice.” We have a right to see babies terminated, but you don’t have a say in the funding for it. The pro-abortionists are a bunch of hypocritical bastards.

How does somebody, anybody wake up, stretch out and think to themselves, ‘Yep, today I’m gonna sign an Executive Order that will further enable and fund the killing of unborn babies in foreign countries. This is precisely how I’m gonna reduce abortions’.
I can’t imagine being able to live with myself.
The prospect of even more abortions trumps even money.
This was among the first things the o administration felt
needed to be done. What kind of person has the death of
the innocents as a priority? I think I know, and I think

Yeah, we have to bail out banks, but we can afford to pay for someone to have sex.
And that is ALL IT IS PEOPLE. We are paying for people to have sex. If they weren’t having sex, there would be no need for abortion because there would be no unwanted pregnancy.
What does it say about us if we allow these things to
continue.

It is time for the tax payers of this country to revolt. Paying for abortions overseas is taxation without representation.
They force the bailouts without our approvals, why not abortions of the innocents?
I think more than a tax revolt is needed. A march on Washington with guns to clean out the moral cesspool is called for. Unfortunately I don’t think there are enough men left in America with the balls.

By this act Obama is guilty of first degree premeditated murder. He moreover declares himself in favor or torturing the innocent unto death, for abortion is torture, while he opposes harsh interrogation for terrorists.
He and those who voted for him will have much to answer for in the day of judgment.
It’s disgusting, but it’s not taxation without representation. They do lots of things with our tax dollars that many people don’t approve of. Our Democrat opponents have been harping on that ever since the Iraq war began.
What it is is a contradiction of what Obama said when he opined that he can’t force his personal religious beliefs on others with his political actions. He doesn’t personally believe that abortion is right (Seriously?), but he can’t force everyone to practice that. Although he doesn’t seem to think it’s wrong to force those of us who don’t approve of abortion to pay for them with our tax dollars.
But then, we all knew Obama was a lying hypocrite.
I imagine you have a soul and a conscience. Some don't.
