Probably. I am coming to the conclusion that liberal American Jews think Israel is a warmongering embarrassment. And they never were too hot on all that Zion jazz anyway.
Now Obama is going to learn that when it comes to extremist Islamists talk accomplishes nothing. I wonder how long it will take for him to figure this out?

Israel could re-occupy the Gaza/Egypt border, along with others as trainees (US, PLA, Egypt, Europe, etc..) Destroy the tunnels and man the restricted entry points.

From a really ugly uber-Machiavellian perspective, you could make the argument that this move (opening the Gaza border) would ultimately bring peace to the region—in the sense that it would mean the eventual total genocide/expulsion of Israel’s Jewish population.
Netanyahu's term as PM unfortunately came during the Clinton Administration, which actively tried to undermine him, and sent Carville over to assist his opponent in a campaign. Netanyahu might be PM again soon, and might be worse off than before.
