President Obama will issue an executive order on Thursday reversing the Bush administration policy that bans the use of federal dollars by non-govermental organizations that discuss or provide abortions outside of the United States.
Obama will sign the executive order on the 36th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion in all 50 states.
The policy, known in governmental circles as the "Mexico City policy," requires any non-governmental organization to agree before receiving U.S. funds that they will "neither perform nor actively promote abortion as a method of family planning in other nations."
The language was announced at the United Nations International Conference on Population in 1984, and was approved by President Reagan and originally drafted by his assistant secretary of state, Alan Keyes.

Nice to know we are all going to have to “sacrifice” as he said in his speech, but we can pay for abortions not even performed here.

How long has this radical been in office now? My estimate, at this rate, is that he will be the most disliked president in American history at the end of his first 100 days. This statement makes my guts ache, but Clinton was a better president than this guy....by a long shot.

Isn’t tomorrow the March for Life (and the Anniversary of Roe v. Wade)? So as the good folks are out there walking around the White House, BHO will be inside signing this evilness.
Considering their arrogance and complete commitment to the agenda of death, any such protest will be met with disdain.
In any case, there will be many hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers in the city here shortly.

Who CARES if it is met with disdain? It’s a reflection of public opinion that they WILL have to deal with. Trust me, Obama is NOT accustomed to protest regarding what HE does.
