If the GOP can not begin to make progress among Hispanics, Texas will become a Democratic State by 2020 if not sooner. That would be a game ender.

If Hispanics don't become conservatives, there's no point in reaching out to them. They'll vote for whoever promises them the most, just like every other minority group.

The coalition of African Americans, Hispanics and white Democrats will be tough to overcome.

Of the three groups, Hispanics would be the most productive to fracture. However, that will not be easy.
