For those who say they love his music if not his politics, recall that Seeger didn’t write those songs in a vacuum. They were designed to further a political end, i.e., Marxism-Leninism.
BTW, I enjoyed listening to “Guantanamera” until I learned it was nothing but a valentine to Fidel Castro (whom Seeger still loves, no doubt).
In fact, if Pete Seeger were consistent, he’d have moved to Cuba decades ago.
