I agree. I think that, conceptually at least, this actually fits with a God Creator idea very well....if not better.
It even allows for the concepts of spirits and souls reaching another level of existence...at least in broad terms.
At any rate, it is fascinating as a brain exercise.

I agree whole heartedly. The problem is that many people think that God is magic. But there is no such thing as magic. For God to do what He did, he created a Universe with in built physics and math.
If anything, by finding proof of our "artificial" creation, we give proof to a God Creator (as you elegantly put it)
