North Texas is running $1.69, it was at $1.49 and it is going back up. I got it for $1.29 because the food store gives 20 cents on the gallon discount when you spend $50.00, and we all know that is easy to do at any grocery store.

I would have expected prices in LA to be much higher than $2.

It’s $1.89 in Minneapolis.

Relax.....

The price of oil has dropped below $35 a barrel, but the gasoline pump prices are on the rise.

Must be the new faces in Washington.

Because the Saudis allowed oil prices to drop for a few months to take the limelight off of Sarah Palin’s “Drill Baby Drill.” Remember how high oil and gas was killing Americans? Bush lifted the ban on offshore drilling, etc...

If McPalin had won, the Saudis would have lost out to drilling in Alaska. They couldn’t let that happen. And we know how connected the messiah is to the Saudis

Just my opinion, of course.

Yep, here in NY (Long Island) the prices have been creeping back up over the past two weeks ... from a low of $1.79 at one station up to $1.95 this morning .. which doesn’t make sense since yesterday’s price for a bbl of oil dropped to a whoppingly low of $35.xx ... MAN!, haven’t seen *those* kind of oil prices in ages!

Because foir some bizarre reason, oil is the only market where the traders think the law of supply and demand should be reversed.

Sarah Palin’s “Drill Baby Drill.”

Yes, Sarah ... but remember it was Michael Steele at the RNC who turned it into a soundbite:

Drill Baby, Drill!

WIGGLE ROOM! Oil companies must figure that they better raise the price before the Feds see a void and suck up all the profit. If the Feds fill the consumption gap with a tax, then the oil company can’t raise the price without causing another serious drop in consumption.

Not to sound heretical, but it's a conspiracy among retailers, truckers, pipeliners, states, counties, townships, cities, unions, and so forth because these entities are going broke with lower revenues.

The new world order isn't raking in enough money. /s
