Washington, DC -- Americans may have their dispute with President Bush on other political issues and those disputes may have led them to support pro-abortion Barack Obama for president. But top pro-life leaders say Bush will leave behind a very strong and lasting legacy as a champion of the pro-life cause.
During his administration, President Bush saw abortions decline to historic lows and he made history himself by signing the first measure to ever ban a form of abortion.

He fought for this change and was obstructed in every way possible by congress and the press, medias and Planned Parenthood ... and the people running the business of it.
Abortion was practically all the right could talk about a few years ago. The President took some large actions to bring the rate of abortion down. Many of those same right-wingers are carping about something else now.

Bush signed a few laws that gave money to Planned Parenthood and WHO, so that they could perform more abortions. All federal laws, that involve abortion, violate the 10th Amendment. I think that abortion is murder, but it should be banned by state governments.

Bush and Reagan have been our two strongest pro-life presidents. But their legacy won’t last more than about one day after Obama is confirmed in office.
He is certain to repeal Reagan’s Mexico City policy be Executive Order, which Bush reinstated after clinton abolished it.
Whether he will succeed in passing FOCA remains to be seen. Even with a huge Dem majority, it will be a hard fight that will alienate a lot of voters who didn’t click how pro-abort Obama really is, since the media hid it.
There were fears that FOCA was going to become law after Clinton was elected, but no action was ever taken.
