MIAMI - A judge yesterday berated former FBI agent John J. Connolly Jr. for tarnishing his badge and slapped him with a 40-year sentence that would keep him in prison until 2021 for his role in the 1982 killing of a Boston businessman in Florida.

Of course it won’t stand. Just like the conviction of that cop who shot Grandma in Atlanta.
He could always get a job with as a BART cop...I understand they have a new opening.
I heard a short blurb about that earlier. Is there a thread up?

“He could always get a job with as a BART cop...I understand they have a new opening.”
You have to be able to shoot unarmed people who have another officer standing on their neck to work in BART. I dunno, armed grandma with a rusty revolver or a unarmed young man laying on his stomach????
Although I guess the light transit people are somewhat similar to the mob this FBI guy was involved with.
“I heard a short blurb about that earlier. Is there a thread up?’
I think I saw a thread but don’t remember where. The guy who’se conviction was tossed wasn’t actually a shooter. He was one that helped plant evidence and cover the murder up.
To be fair only part of his crimes were tossed. But the ones he plead guilty to will now be up for review because of this one getting tossed.
Thanks. I’ll look for the articles.
Ever been to their qualification range?
This despicable puke “Zip” Connolly deserves to be put away in maximum security for the rest of his present life and his next seven incarnations. He’s not only complicit in aiding and abetting several murders [including acting as lookout and driving the getaway car in one Whitey Bulger mob hit in South Boston], but is also responsible for framing some innocent people into prison for decades as part of his various cover-ups for other Bulger murders.
