MICHAEL Moore may wind up in court with a prize-winning journalist who claims the mountain-size moviemaker ripped off his most famous photo to use in a George W. Bush-bashing rant.
Last year, to illustrate one of his anti-administration bombasts, the portly polemicist posted on his michaelmoore.com Web site a heartbreaking photo from Iraq of an American soldier carrying the blood-spattered body of a child. The picture was snapped by acclaimed independent war correspondent Michael Yon, who has been very careful about how his images are distributed and goes out of his way to make sure they aren't used for demagogic diatribes.

Fat Lard Boy misuses himself all the time.
That will be one of the most memorable photos from OIF. To me, it shows the American belief that all life is precious, the compassion of Americans and American soldiers for innocent noncombatants caught up in conflict or intentionally targeted by terrorists, and one man’s genuine interest in comforting an injured child.
This is such an honorable photo. I sincerely hope Michael Yon exacts a heavy price for Moore’s disgraceful behavior. And I know he will put any monetary reward to good use.
Yon has started a litigation fund on his home site. I hope Yon hands Moore his own lardy a$$!

I think this is the photo.
You’re being too easy on him.
My Vote's for Obama (if I could vote) ...by Michael Moore
Friends,
I don't get to vote for President this primary season. I live in Michigan. The party leaders (both here and in D.C.) couldn't get their act together, and thus our votes will not be counted.
So, if you live in Pennsylvania, can you do me a favor? Will you please cast my vote -- and yours -- on Tuesday for Senator Barack Obama?

Michael Moore (quote), from his website, April 14, 2004...
"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?"
[actual quote from Michael Moore (2004). It still appears on his website]

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA):
"We are a party of unity in action. We are an integral part of every struggle and movement for change to eliminate poverty and joblessness, against racism and for full equality. We are participants, initiators and leaders of every movement to make life better now and much better in a socialist future." Yeah, so they supported an oppressive dictator, like the Repubs and Democrats haven't? The CP is still around, has apologized for that whole Stalin thing, and has a quickly growing youth section.

...laughs! And laughs! And laughs!
Let’s make a “documentary” about Michael Moore’s hypocracy. :D
Moore has money. He would be a good target for a lawsuit and it would serve him right.
Heh! Love it.
GO, Michael Yon!
PING for some good news!
I thought the Communist Party was absorbed by the DNC?
I was always under the impression polemics was something that had truth behind it. Propagandist is more like it.
That Captain held and comforted that child as she died in his arms. It was in the immediate aftermath of a bombing, a time when a second bomb or an ambush is very likely.
That desision put his at risk because he was not holding his weapon.
Michael Moore is a real bastard to take something that is evidence of the decency of US troops and make it an indictment of US troops.
