That will be number one on both Obama’s and Holders agends.

Holder's beginning to appear like the loose cannon a venturesome administration may want to use to 'spearhead' operations designed to 'test' the resolve of the American masses, particularly those who own guns.

The Constitution didn't lose simply because the democrats won. These tyrant wanna-bees may have to learn the lesson the hard way. There's only one area where my government could lose my total support and that would be any attempt to confiscate or ban guns and ammo that have a legitimate function in a militia and the right of people to keep and bear such arms.

Unlike protests against the Viet Nam war during the sixties, protests against a government's attempt to disarm civilians would be joined by groups otherwise not so aligned by any other issue. Young and old, gun owner and non-gun owner, democrat and republican, gay and straight, pro-choice and pro-abortion, black and white (and yellow and brown), etc.

A full frontal assualt on the second ammendment would create the 'unity' that these idiots in this administration profess to desire, but it wouldn't be the kind they were looking for. Nope. Americans of all stripes deep down, love freedom. A gun offers this as well as many other useful functions.

For an administration that will 'hit the ground running', this may be just the bump in the road needed to have them fall flat on their face. 85 million gun owners and their friends ought not to be trifled with, but I have no doubt they will try- because they are stupid.

Obama claims to support the 2nd amendment, then nominates an attorney general that is rabidly anti-gun. Obama decries "tax breaks for the oil companies" in front of coal miners to curry their favor, then nominates cabinet members to push a cap and trade policy that he intends to use to bankrupt the coal industry. His minions in Congress are preparing to "regulate coal ash" as a means of further putting the screws to coal fired electricity generation (45% of total electric generation in the U.S.). At every turn, Obama says one thing, but nominates a candidate that does just the opposite. He'll be "commander in chief", then kick the troops in the teeth by removing the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. It's really hard to imagine a bigger asshole...and he hasn't even been inaugurated yet.

He said in his campaign that he was getting rid of the coal industry, so to speak,; they voted, coal workers, for him anyway. He could have said and did anything and these folks still voted for him.

What has amazed me is that on this and so many other issues Obama has bamboozled so many of the public. Too many times, people have chosen to believe what he says during a campaign instead of his actions during his entire political career. What is more credible, words or actions?

Cue the old Who song Won’t Get Fooled Again....

How many people that claim to defend the Second Amendment defend gun control laws?
You know gun control laws that require people to take firearms instructions and pass a test before they can exercise a right to carry a gun. Which criminals obey this law?
You know gun control laws that require people to first submit to a background check before they can exercise a right to carry a gun. Which criminals obey this law?

“They’re not stupid, they’re evil. The great failure of the conservative movement is to confuse the two.”

Exactly right. They are pure EVIL. There can be no other explanation.

And when idiots like McCain keep using his “My friends” they smirk inside their vile souls.

They know. They don't care. They think they are strong enough to defeat us or marginalize us out of a victory.

So far, we've done nothing to disabuse them of this notion.

Yup. They let the union think for them. The union officials will get a nice payoff. The workers will get a nice layoff.

I heard the Kenyan fraud artist make that comment about the U.S. Constitution. I hope the SCOTUS deals with him today before we march into a constitutional crisis.

Go out and get a copy of the “Turner Diaries.” That may wake you up. I don't believe in the idea of White supremacy, but the idea that roaming bands of Commissars to confiscate firearms will be the begining of the end.

That full frontal attack your talking about will be coming sooner than later. Dollars to donuts within the next several months the a Bill will be passed by the Democratic Majority.
I’m just hoping that the ‘silent majority’ of this nation will finally rise up and hold these people accountable.

most of the liberals I know aren’t in favor of banning guns.

Sadly, the younger generations have only been taught to 'fear' guns. I know 40-somethings who practically faint at the sight of a gun- male and female alike.

The media is responsible for conducting this disinformation campaign as they gladly report every shooting involved in a crime (violence and gore sells papers, etc.) but are reluctant to report instances where a gun has prevented a crime from occuring (boring).

Even the rediculous home security commercials portray a woman who's home is being broken into as being 'protected' by the alarm that goes off, and the subsequent phone call from the security service, letting her know "help is on the way".

Liberals really aren't that stupid, just easily led around be their noses. Government puts a ring in it and, BAM!, there goes their common sense. The NRA should counter these commercials with one of their own like this:

Scene One: Woman hears alarm, sees buglar (of European decent) breaking glass on door and reaching in to unlock the door.
Scene Two: Outside, buglar is having difficulty with lock- suddenly a loud BOOM! and muzzle flash coming from the darkened room sends him flying backwards into trash cans.
Scene Three: Woman answers phone-
"Are you all right?"
"Yes, thank you for calling."
"We noticed your alarm went off, help is on the way."
"They really don't have to hurry."
"Uh, what?"
"Well, the guy trying to break in isn't moving. He's laying on the ground."
"Did our alarm system do that!?"
"No, I did with my husband's shotgun but he didn't tell me he'd changed it from birdshot to slugs, don't 'cha know."
"Wow lady, thanks. I've only been working here a couple of weeks and I thought, 'man, is this security good or what?'."
"Well, it did give me a heads-up really."
"Well, I hope you're OK and when the cops arrive, have them call me at --- --- ---- ext. 49586 so I can brief them on our conversation."
"I'll do that, and thanks again for the call."
"No problem, just doing my job and I'm glad you and your family are safe. If you have any other questions let me know now 'cause I've got to get back to answering the phone to rescue other people."
"No, I don't have any. But, thanks again."
"Good night, then."
"Good night."

but the idea that roaming bands of Commissars to confiscate firearms will be the begining of the end.

This sounds eerily similar to the 'morality police' that Iran uses to intimidate otherwise normal Iranians. Young couples holding hands or a woman without a headscarf and these guys roll-up and do a Rodney King on them.

Somehow, I don't think Americans have anywhere near the religious committment to offend gun owners in a similar way, but with the election of B Hussein, who knows? Who's his Ayatollah? Reverend Wright maybe, but most of America ain't buying his crap.

Still, we have to resist every attempt by all governments (fed, state, local) to limit our access to guns which, by there very nature, are the only thing that can ensure liberty for individuals.

Governments hate that. Ayatollahs hate that. Tyrants hate that. So it shall be.

The anti-gunners have no army, just limp-wristed, feel good liberals. They don't stand a chance. In the words of Flight 93, "Let's Roll".

Do you really think I'm discussing religion? The Illinois gun prohibition is one of the worst in the U.S.
The Far Left is looking to confiscate all weapons within the U.S. It is also part of the UN plan for the NWO. The UN has already voted to ban freedom of speech.
When I first read the Turner Diaries, I chuckled to myself and remarked that the author was in some fantasy land. I understand he went to meet his maker not to long ago.
Now with the state of America and the UN passing laws in complete juxtaposition to the very core of our Constitution I think maybe he was right.
Remember Obama discussing his brand of security, (Sounding very much like the block commissars of Russia.) Well, I don't think that is too far off in the future.
I may be wrong. God please tell me I'm wrong. But, we'll just wait and see.
