Waxman to push global warming bill By Mike Soraghan Posted: 01/15/09 11:22 AM [ET]
Comprehensive global warming legislation will be sent to the House floor by Memorial Day, House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) announced Thursday.
"Our committee will be acting quickly and decisively to reduce global warming and end our dependence on foreign oil," Waxman said.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has indicated that reining in climate change is among her top priorities.

The shear size of the arrogance, or the shear ignorance the Speaker appears to be revelling in.

It’s going to get better and better. Just looking at Waxman I know he is a genuine climate expert. Not.
Apparently Waxman hasn’t looked at the national weather map today. If we are at the crucial tipping point for a global warming catastrophe why are we seeing 60 and even 100 year old records for cold being shattered across the US and why have global temperatures declined for a decade?

Whoa! It’s not as cold as that here in southwest Missouri, but it’s still cold (it was 2 this morning and 8 right now).
It is insane that these people still preach “global warming,” when most of our country is currently under a huge cold wave.

This is good news. Try selling this to the American people when it’s been a record cold and the economy is in the dumps. In the end it will be the Democrats who give the Republicans issues. God knows the Republicans over the past 2+ years haven’t had any.
Waxhead dare not send it in the middle of the Winter . . . maybe the coldest January will turn into the Coldest Winter by May . . .?
