Yes, one source answered. He was getting the money. He was being paid a tax allowance to pay him for tax payments that he should have made but had not. Gee, I don't remember getting paid a "tax allowance" in addition to my salary. I guess I should have been working for the IMF.

Wouldn’t the money given to him to pay his taxes also be taxable income??? seems to me under IRS rules it would be... and WHY did they waive penalties?????

I think tomorrow I'll run this little payment scheme past my boss, tell him I'd like the same thing, and see how long it takes him to toss my ass out of his office.
