Rush mentioned Rendell yesterday when talking about Richardson and the contributor’s ties to several other political figures. He implied the damage won’t stop with Richardson and the prosecutor in NM is expanding the investigation.

Dontcha just love the higher level of morality, ethicallity and job capability standards the dems bring to public office?

The demrat party soap opera will be with us for a long time I’m afraid. What we’re seeing now is only the tip of the ice berg.

Didn’t the brain dead demrats vote for change? Well they got it—change for the worse.

Eddie is a professional sleezebag. Droopy Dog is just an amateur. He will skate, just watch.

Further, because of a quirk in Pennsylvania law, if Rendell were forced to step down, we'd have a Republican governor. And not just a Republican, but a conservative, who was elevated to the Lt. Gov. spot when Knoll-Baker took a dirt nap.

Those in Philly might want to look at some CHicago roots.

Blank-O appointee, Burris was paid $5,000/m by Loop corp which is run by BO friend Jim Reynolds & BO’s BIL Craig Robinson. Loop figures in, or is a part of the Mayor Street/paramour scandel.

If you have any more information RE: this connection plese ping me to it....THANKS.

According to federal law enforcement officials familiar with the investigation, federal officials are also looking into CDR’s political and financial ties to Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, as well as to Democrat state and local officials in Illinois, California, Florida and Pennsylvania.”

California ? Nancy Pelosi ? Just asking.

“It is someone that gave Rendell thousands of dollars for his campaign, someone Rendell felt close enough to put on his transition team and someone who who received at least $600,000 for a contract with Pennsylvania Housing Finance for monitoring the value of “swap” contracts,” said Steve Miskin, press secretary for House Republican Leader Sam Smith.”

Whoa....are those ‘swap’ contracts like the CDO’s that helped get us in the housing mess? This reeks to high Heaven. Thanks for this article.

I would suspect that all pols are either corrupt upon reaching national office or corrupted while there—that includes Pubbies. The depth of the corruption is shallower on the Pubbie side than the dems because almost all real conservatives are by definition folks with moral and ethical standards.

The system is broken. IMO it cannot be fixed. It must be dismantled one way or the other to facilitate a new start. The Constitution itself does not preclude another round of revolution. The country is now in the hands of a new breed of political despots. With the break down of the two-party system there is currently in this country no meaningful opposition to the dems Marxist agenda. RINOs who control the GOP are not going to relinquish control to constitutionalists. They are perfectly happy with the crumbs the dems deign to toss on the floor for them.
