China's milk scandal is a political temblor

Selling contaminated baby formula is a heinous enough crime to shock a nation, but China's leaders know they have a dangerously destabilizing political crisis on their hands.

The scandal goes to the heart of a covenant between any authoritarian regime and those who surrender freedom. They cede power with the belief, however wishful, they will be better off. Those in power promise to protect them from all manner of hazards, foreign and domestic.

The CP should just relinquish everything except education. (Kind of along our NEA teacher's union and the Democrat party.) That way they can control the development of the masses minds, intellect, and keep them politically and economically ignorant.

Works great in the US.

Yep. After all, they are Commies.

Japan puts out good stuff and their car sales are off 25%.

The ChiComs must really be taking it in the shorts.

Cat food was one thing, but babies?

And in addition to the milk and babies, they have all the children who were killed in substandard schools by the earthquake. With this economy, Chinese power people are not in a good place. They are considering the death penalty for the woman who was in charge of some aspect of the milk situation, even thought she was not involved in the direct contamination of the milk or production.

The masses, under the benevolent and all knowing leadership that was educated in the best American schools, have no need for wasting resources in civil court actions.

But, enough about Obama’s America.

Only for dissenters and conservatives.

“The scandal goes to the heart of a covenant between any authoritarian regime and those who surrender freedom. They cede power with the belief, however wishful, they will be better off. Those in power promise to protect them from all manner of hazards, foreign and domestic”.

Fair warning for us. We’re headed in the same direction.
