Actually, Hizbullah has no chance of over running Israel as Syria did in 73 and with two parties attacking Israel would then have a free hand to counterattack more viciously.

No, "may" is not consistent with everything. "Saddam may attack tomorrow" is not consistent with the fact that he is dead. Israel should have made the statement "Hizbullah may attack tomorrow" simlarly at odds with reality.
