The big headline story recently has been Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevichs play for pay scandal relating to the president-elects vacant Senate seat. Weve also been watching money scandals surrounding other Democrats such as Charlie Rangel and William Jefferson, to name but a few.
It now appears by way of the New York Times that they are not alone in violating ethics. Add Hillary Clinton to the list.
The next secretary of state did a huge favor for a developer who contributed thousands to her campaign and her husband's library....

Frankly, there’s not much purpose in many political contributions unless they buy some access (a/k/a influence).
There may be some disinterested true-believers out there among the large donors, but I think they’re in the minority.
I just visited the mall site yesterday having to go to extreme measures just to get around the developer’s addition (in progress) and find any parking (the addition took almost the whole parking lot).
Needless to say, Hillary was the main topic of my comments to my wife during this time.
better yet let’s wait until Queen Caroline ascends the throne before knocking hitlery out.

This is THE sole purpose of lobbyists. I contibute, you contribute to me. It is the main reason the whole system is corrupt. No big surprise here.
