It is NO coincidence that New Jersey is Pharmaceutical heaven and HURTING. Corzine wants better earnings for the Pharms. so he can get more taxes from them. New Jersey is on the bail out list.

There is NO REASON for this vaccine being required.

Medical community claim there is no relationship between autism and massive immunization. Look up autism rate Amish on google. Several universities surveyed Amish communities and found their autism rate is 1/100 of non Amish rates. Amish in general do not immunize their kids at the rate we immunize our kids. No body is looking at these studies to draw a conclusion nor expand on them to get to a conclusion. If I were king for the day, I like to see a state in the US experiment by spreading the shot schedule out and another state eliminate shots for non life threatening illnesses and see what happens to the autism rate in their state.

The reason why vaccines are required is that high vaccination rates reduce the chance of epidemic. An epidemic requires one person to pass the disease on to several. Having many people immune in the population can cut the chances of that.

In particular, people who are in close proximity to many others, such as those in government schools, receive preferential benefit from vaccination.

Having the government decide on the vaccine and then give it away free is flawed policy. The time required to develop the vaccine gives the virus time to mutate. When there were many different manufacturers and developers, there were several different vaccines available. Some were worthless, but some were effective, others were partially effective. When it was known what the common flu virus for that year had mutated to, doctors had choices of which vaccine to give to each population.

Most healthy adults would be given the least effective vaccines for the placebo effect.
Doctors and nurses would be given the most effective vaccines, with the next, partially effective vaccines given to children and teachers.

The small companies who, through luck, had developed the most effective vaccine that year would sell out. The less effective vaccines would sell some, enough to keep them trying for next year. Some 30% to 50% would actually be immunized each year, which with careful placement is plenty to prevent epidemic.

Now, only one vaccine is available. There is no ability to preferentially place immunity. A much higher vaccination rate is required to get the necessary population immunity. Even so, every 7 years or so the vaccine is ineffective, and people are exposed to the risk of epidemic. At best, there is risk of shortage, as foreign companies that sell to the US government are the only suppliers, and expect some little gain, but no chance for big profits. Quality control problems have led to shortages.

The purpose: To make the world safe for socialized medicine, the government must require a single vaccine, so that epidemics can occur, justifying even more government intervention.
