What is that weird headgear that some of the Israeli soldiers are wearing?
This is a good question. I am trying to find out exactly what the headgear is doing. I’ve seen footage of them putting the baggy hats on.

I asked myself the same question during the war with Hezbollah. Then, one day, I saw a video of IDF soldiers advancing and all of a sudden a shot rung and the soldiers fell on the ground for cover. The funky head wear looked just like the rocks scattered everywhere! I stared in disbelief, until a number of "rocks" got up and turned into IDF soldiers that continued advancing.
I have the same incredulity —at times bordering on “rage’—at the Libs lack of willingness to even educate themselves..about foreign politcs, history, let alone basic economics.
I think they live in this LaLa Land and when someone, in the most sincere and tolerant and calm manner SUGGESTS a fact or two, they stand there like a 4 yr old with fingers in their ears, yelling..”la la la lala la!”
Of course that is why they are so easily led by their noses by the Dems and the left. Their “viewpoints” based on a slopistic emotionalism also makes them feel magnanimous. ( Hey, ha..I could insult them with those words and they wouldn’t understand me. ha.)
Arutz 10 is working for me ( www.nana10.co.il ) ... the only problem is the (truly mind-numbingly bad) commercials that one has to endure (fortunately not too many) - there is something incongruous about watching high-level, sober discussions about life-and-death issues of war, conducted by the highly intelligent discussants on Israel TV (the average IQ of Israeli military officers is very high), interspersed between commercials for soap operas and water filters ...
Is there any way we can get an “Official “ or Live thread” for the Gaza situation? I don’t know how to do that and have requested it from other posters?
Maybe make a request to the moderator that the words “live gaza thread” or something like that be added to title.
