GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – Israel rejected international pressure to suspend its air offensive against Palestinian militants whose rocket barrages are striking close to the Israeli heartland, sending warplanes Wednesday to demolish smuggling tunnels that are the lifeline of Gaza's Islamic Hamas rulers.

Transparent AP title making Israel seem to reject peace.

Well look at the names of the authors. One's an islamonazi and the other is a flaming left wing Jew.

Good. Give the terrorists a taste of their own medicine.

They can dish it out but can’t take it.

Crybabies.

The ONLY reason Hamas ever calls for a truce, is to smuggle in more weapons and aid from Iran. Which means they were getting low on supplies.

Must be tough being bombed by an enemy that doesn’t exist.

Why can’t the U.S. learn anything from Israel, they remind me of the old saying that coaches always use: “when you’ve got someone down down let them back in it.” I thought I had read an article where an Israeli government official aksed why would they call for a cease fire when the only thing that Hamas would do would be to rearm themselves. I thought that made a whole lot of sense, then I realized that its been a while since I’ve said that about my own government.

I agree. There should be overwhelming ‘international pressure’ for Hamas to stop. Is it disproportionate for me to call in the Orkin Man to kill a cockroach infestation? I think not.

I read one story that said Hamas & friends had fired over 3,000 missles into Israel during the so-called truce (with little response from Israel). Funny that was never a problem, but suddenly when Israel fights back, it becomes a crisis.

Why should Israel give them a break? Every time Israel backs off, their enemies use the time to rebuild their strength, only to attack them anew. Enough is enough, finish the job once and for all Israel.

>>Enough is enough, finish the job once and for all Israel.<<

Don’t worry they are going to. This is just starting now, they will not back off no matter what anyone says.
The problem is that very soon they may be doing it without the support of the USA. :-(
