Why do people take “post locked” messages from the Mods so personally? I think the Mods understand that occasionally someone will post a redundant piece, so they simply lock it and post the link to the earlier one. Done deal. Nothing personal, so don’t take it that way.

One time a mod locked my thread and I didn't get out of bed for a whole week.

I think you need a break. Get outside, smell the fresh air, maybe take a long walk and soak up some life-giving rays. They’re good for you, you know. Vitamin D deficiency may be contributing to your problem and a healthy dose of radiation just may be the solution; so get out there and start living, girl.

I realize the holidays can be tough for some people. And while it might seem cathartic to come here and post to get attention, some of the replies you will get might not do anything positive for your mental well being.

Have you perhaps considered getting some counseling from one of the public help numbers? You should be able to find them in your phone book under mental health providers.

Before you find yourself alienated even further through circumstances you can’t control, please seek professional help.
