I did not know that most Iraqi christians followed our calender, I had assumed most of them followed the eastern rite and celebrated christmas in the beginning of January.

I wish all christians would at least celebrate on the same days, to enhance their unity and cooperation.

On the other hand, following different calendars makes it clearer that we don’t really believe Jesus was born on December 25th.
