If they are in a band they have. Well, to clarify, only if they are sincere. Islam allows it’s followers to appear to completely abandon their religions “rules” if it helps them spread Islam. Christians are not given that option.

An interesting twist on this is the Muslim character in Clancy’s Executive Orders.

I expect that an “Allah was a punk rocker” bumper sticker would liven up the commute just a tad.

The American Taliban went down the path of Islam following the references in rap. He pretended to be black in some forums and was eventually instructed that the music and instruments he liked were forbidden. He kept the faith, and not the music.
