Another stain upon our blessed military.

It’s very sad that just a few make it so tough for the rest of them.

The media will have a heyday.

Our military is the most ethical and professional in the world, CyberAnt.

Also, remember this is breaking news.
As the days progress, more details should be forthcoming.

I’ve watched breaking news change (sometimes dramatically), so stay tuned.

I agree we have the “most ethical and professional” military in the world. Iraq is a testimony to that .. and gives the media all the more reaons to try to tear them down.

My concern is that those who already have a dislike for the military (the left), will use this to further denigrate our “best and brightest” who always sacrifice to keep us safe.

Just take a look at the “popular” movies coming out. First we have Tom Cruise as a “Hitler killer” - Hmmmm ..?? I seem to recall he’s in the bunch of Hollywood people who always called Bush “Hitler” ..?? Is this planned to insinuate that Bush should be killed - this is really scary to me .. because some nut could decide it’s his job to carry out this fantasy.

Next we have another attack upon the Catholic Church, “Doubt”. I’m not a Catholic, but I’ve known a lot of them .. and found them totally unlike anything portrayed on TV or in the movies. While the past scandal was horrendous, I believe this movie is a way to keep that forefront in people’s minds .. especially at Christmas time.

Then we have “Milk” .. the glorification of homosexuality. I lived in the Bay Area when Harvey was killed - and I remember how that death catapulted Diane Feinstein into the limelight. This movie is just another slap in the face of Christians everywhere.

I know these examples may seem off base, but they are symptomatic of how the media treats the military - and any other part of society which doesn’t seem to fit “their” perception of what America should be like.

Damn economic depression/recession.

We are having similiar situations here in parts of N California.

Monday morning at about 10 am, the parking lot in one of local most popular shopping centers filled up.

Typical elite wino liberals (probably) started blocking the through streets by pulling into the intersections at the entrances. When the lights changed, they just stayed there.

Apparently, the cops were called in and still took over an hour to teach people not to block the intersections.

Inspite of being warned by loudspeaker and motorcycle cops with loud speakers not to block the intersections. People still blocked them and got some hefty tickets.

From the KOCO article: "After the search, police said they found several suspicious items.
Jordal's friends told Eyewitness News 5 that he merely had firecrackers."

This time of year, in many locations, that is entirely possible.

OTOH, He could have been, "rolling his own noisemakers" using black powder. Some folks are never satisified with the bang they can get with today's :sissied-down" commercial fireworks.

Doesn't seem like another McVeigh-scale threat. However, the Nichols brothers did admit to filling plastic prescription bottles with black powder "to shake up the rats in the grain bin"...

You just never know...

I understand what you are saying.

The hard fact is that anti-Americans will always find a reason to hate America, hate our military, hate our leos.....etc.
