I’ve been hearing the fears that more home invasion crimes will occur as folks get more desperate during this bad economy.

The Left insists that conservatives are only buying guns right now because they are afraid black people are going to go crazy. Seriously. I even heard this on a radio station from a black host who has used his OWN gun to defend his OWN home from invaders in the past.
The real reason for buying the guns isn’t an increase in crime now or the immediate future, it is because of pending changes to gun purchase laws from an empowered Liberal government.

Fake but accurate headline from the Democrats, again.I didn't even think of that. You're right! Great point.
Most people won't get past the headline.

The REAL money in stealing CDs is when a thief takes the whole binder of CDs from a DJ and sells them (even without the cases) to a pawn shop or on craigslist.
Big Box doesn't care about that loss. The DJ will have to replenish his library.

They’re using a new term for shoplifting around these parts, and I’m reading an example just about daily.....”Commercial Burglary”.

Shoplifting CDs. It’s obvious how hard-up these shoplifters are. CDs are so nutritious for their starving children.

I work part-time in the electronics dept. at Wal-Mart. The thing that slays me is when I find stolen christian music CD's. Hello!

In her defense, Winona Ryder admitted her guilt and foolishness, fulfilled the obligations ordered by the court ahead of time, paid her fine, etc., and to my knowledge has never shoplifted again.

So during a "training session" they caught a "fake shoplifter". Maybe they should send in some "fake shoplifters" when there isn't a "training session" going on to see if security is worth a damn.

It’s not a sign of bad times it’s a sign of bad people. Hard times test people. The good ones learn to live within their means. The bad ones can’t get over their own self absorbed sense of entitlement.

From what I’ve read and heard from grandparents, the last depression brought a drop in crime. Our culture kicked in and did it’s job during hard times. Too bad the culture has changed. If the economy does collapse, get ready for a nightmare of crime.

You are making the assumption that being poor makes you a thief! WRONG
Our so called eduction system which makes it OK to steal because of situation ethics has told a generation it is OK.
It is not the poor it is the liberal thinking
