From what I understand, the busboys and bartenders with SAG cards want to strike because it will cost them nothing except for a chance to work on set for a day saying "Hey, you!" in one scene. The full time actors don't want to strike because they saw the writers strike did nothing but cost everyone a lot of money.

As an entertainment lawyer who knows more than a few “busboys and bartenders with SAG cards” I can tell you that the last thing they want is a strike. Many of those busboys and bartenders, by the way, are much better actors than the actors whose names we all know.
