The liberal mind never ceases to amaze me.
Our nation is experiencing record snows and cold spells, and Air America host Thom Hartmann actually told his audience Friday:
What we are seeing in this cold, that has me trapped in my house here today, is that, what we are seeing is a symptom of global warming. But you wouldn't know that from the crazies on the right.
Speaking of lunacy, Hartmann was so proud of this moment in broadcast history that he created an mp3 of his explanation as to why global warming is making us all freeze to death, and not only posted it [1] at Air America's website, but also included an embed feature if folks wanted to share his astounding stupidity with others.

Now, I don't know what "science piece" Hartmann was referring to. I've done a Google news search, and found a NewScientist article [3] discussing the recently released data [4] from the World Meteorological Organization concerning world ice levels.
However, neither suggested that evaporated ice is adding moisture to the atmosphere that's causing the recent snows and cold spells. Frankly, I haven't been able to find any published work stating that.
Maybe Thom will do us a favor and shoot us a link so that we can examine this fabulous theory in greater detail.

I’ll be the first to admit that I do not know enough about climatology to know whether the global warming people are right or wrong. But I do know they have not persuasively made their case to convince me to trash the U.S. economy in order to prevent it.

When Harmann signs on to the Global Warming pseudoscience, he is signing on to a world wide Marxist effort to destroy capitalist democracy and the middle class. The middle class is the subject of his book, "Screwed: The Undeclared War Against the Middle Class -- And What We Can Do About It,"
You do not help the middle class by screwing it with Marxist ideology. If Hartmann is so worried about global warming, he should be calling for the building of massive sea walls around our coastal cities. Getting rid of fossil fuels is Marxist trick to give up our society to a small group of ruling elites with Marxist intentions.
Sun got colder and has less sun spot activity thus temperatures have dropped.
What a waste of bandwidth.. and a load of bull. Shame on them.
It is called...hold on to your hat...W-I-N-T-E-R. Not global climate change, not cold caused by heat, but it is a season.
Those guys are worse than the ones saying the earth is flat, or that the sun revolves around the earth.
“Global Warming” is a “gift” the Left gave to Al Gore, along with a Nobel and an Oscar and a modicum of money and power, for no other reason than they felt sorry for him. “Global Warming” is essentially an Al Gore Pity Party on a global scale.
You can’t argue against religion with logic or science.
Is somebody assigned to actually listen to this crap? I wouldn’t do it unless I was paid and paid well.
The wackos should abbreviate their explanation to the simple bit of logic:
“Cold is hot.”
As an example, they can say that ice is cold because it is *storing* heat, and so when ice melts, the heat it gives off warms up your mixed drink. This is why your mixed drink gets warmer when the ice has melted.
Therefore, global warming will cause progressive amounts of ice and snow, because it has the heat it needs to form. Eventually the global warming will be so great that giant glaciers form (show clip from the movie ‘Ice Age’).

As anyone can tell, the asterisk on the right is the highest, which conclusively proves that cold is hot and global warming is getting worse until January 20th, when it will get better.
