Rick Warren had a surprisingly candid response to Ann Curry's question as to whether he would change his views on homosexuality if it were established that people are born gay. The pastor of the Saddleback Church, explaining why such a finding wouldn't cause him to change his position, observed that he is inclined to want to have sex with every beautiful woman he sees, but that that doesn't make it right.
Curry interviewed Warren for a Dateline segment that will be aired tonight on NBC. As noteworthy as Warren's admission was the righteous liberal anger, captured in the screengrab, Curry put on display while asking Warren whether he is homophobic.

Warren’s candor, Curry’s righteous liberal anger ping to Today show list.
I think one can safely assume that this lady is not an occasion of sin for Mr. Warren. Ugly from the inside out.
Male lions kill the offspring of their male rivals.
It’s natural.
Ann Curry is a bimbo.
What exactly is "noteworthy" about this admission?
I use this example all the time. Just because my sexual orientation is to adultery does not mean the Episcopal Church should develop a rite for the blessing of the motel room keys.
I found it noteworthy for a pastor of Warren’s stature to state it so matter of factly on national TV. I think the candor is unusual.
In fact prostitution is not a right , two consenting adults. But in my county of Maryland same sex sex gives you special employment and housing rights.
Oh goodie, another Jimma Carter who lusts in his heart.
who couldn't make it up Mt Kilimanjaro....
Great answer. It’s the one I usually use, unless my wife is in the room.
Adjective assault...

That's funny.
Then she pulls out her trump card. SCIENCE. The Left has supplanted their faith in God with faith in the latest madcap pronouncement of "Scientists". Curry's reverence for science as she delivers the following line is clear.
CURRY: If science finds that this is biological, that people are born gay, would you change your position?
Of course, all of the research into this area is agenda-driven. Homosexuality is proven conclusively by the academic scientific community to be in-born on every alternate Tuesday. Unfortunately, that conclusion does not jibe with the reality that so many homosexuals were the victims of childhood sexual abuse themselves, usually by an adult homosexual.
Of course, Warren side-steps the entire issue of scientifically determined predisposition elegantly, thus demonstrating again that he is several orders of magnitude more intelligent than Ann Curry...
WARREN: No, and the reason why is because we all have biological predispositions. I'm naturally inclined to have sex with every beautiful woman I see. But that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.
One interesting thing in the edit. There is a significant pause in Warren's statement, right before he says "But that doesn't make it the right thing to do". During this pause they show a reaction shot from Curry. I would be very interested to know if this reaction shot was taped simultaneously with Warren's words, or if it is spliced in from a series of reaction shots taken after the interview is over.
If Warren did pause at that point and if Curry did react as if she were being flattered at that point, it would indicate that Warren was playing her like a fish. If, in fact, Warren did not pause and spoke without a break, he is still making a good point, but there is no flattery of Curry involved.
That sort of edit matters.
I am reminded of Bobby Knight's infamous interview with Connie Chung from a few years back. Chung asked Knight about refereees making bad calls or something, and Knight responded that it was like rape, and if you can't do anything about it, you should lie back and enjoy it. Knight then immidiately went on to make other outrageous statements, and never realized that Chung was offended.
Well, in the edit, they spliced a pause into Knight's sentence, and inserted a massive spit-take from Chung. The effect was to make Knight look even more boorish than he already is by failing to pick up on Chung's (non-existant) reaction to the outrageous thing he said.
I hope he came back with something like “Well, MOST good-looking women I meet.”
I think uncharacteristic candor is what is needed now from all of our pastors and priests, only God has what we will need to help us rebuild our nation from the chaos it is about to fall into!
Reminds me of Mister Ed.
Ann wouldn't make the cut ...
