Yup, I remember NET well. My old BUD dish was often pointing at the bird carrying NET. I called into his show once... I think it was called Direct Line with Paul Weyrich...but I could be mistaken. He seriously injured his back in an accident during that time. I remember that He was fond of trains :-)

Direct Line, yes that was it. I called in many, many times. NET was to me back then what FRee Republic is to me today.

One of the very first television efforts by conservatives to circumvent the Drive-By Media. It was the forerunner of Fox News, in my opinion. I always thought had it been able to get on cable tv nationally, it would have been a hit.
