Before Eric Holder was President-elect Barack Obama's choice to be attorney general, he was Gov. Blagojevich's pick to sort out a mess involving Illinois' long-dormant casino license.
Blagojevich and Holder appeared together at a March 24, 2004, news conference to announce Holder's role as "special investigator to the Illinois Gaming Board" -- a post that was to pay Holder and his Washington, D.C. law firm up to $300,000.
Holder, however, omitted that event from his 47-page response to a Senate Judiciary Committee questionnaire made public this week -- an oversight he plans to correct after a Chicago Sun-Times inquiry, Obama's transition team indicated late Tuesday.
"Eric Holder has given hundreds of press interviews," Obama transition spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter said in a statement. "He did his best to report them all to the committee, but as he noted in the questionnaire itself, some were undoubtedly missed in the effort to reconstruct a list of them."
Holder signed the questionnaire on Sunday -- five days after Blagojevich's arrest for allegedly putting Obama's U.S. Senate seat up for sale.

Is Holder soon to be another so-called ‘informant’?
Usually these ‘informants’ do not volunteer their services, instead being brought on board to help investigations usually because of some criminal activity on their own part. I’m guessing that’s the case with Jesse Jr. since he appeared to be crying at his last press conference and he knows the gig is up. Meaning he has to testify in front of Jury’s and spend a lot of time in court explaining all this criminal activity that he was part of and witness to.
Everybody who knows Jesse Jackson Jr., including Barry O is probably searching through their appointments for the past couple of years to determine when they talked to this ‘Rat’ and what they talked about.
The part I get a kick out of is how the liberal press is jumping on this and pointing out what a great guy JJJ is, and they’re even speculating that this may make him governor some day.. What a hoot!
The only Governorship JJJ will be seeing is the Governorship of his Probation Officer checking up on him from time to time. Informants are RATS and they usually swim in the same bathwater as the criminals they rat on. The idea that JJJ would be any different is laughable.

We are dealing with billions today, that amount is chicken feed.
And how coincidental it is that the one interview he just happened to omit involves a Democrat cockroach who is being nailed to the wall for his criminal actions.
HA HA HA..... and Holder just happened to “forget” a $300K contract with the scumbag who has just been in national news, arrested and indicted, etc.
Oh, yeah, just an accidental oversight...... Sure!!
Hopefullly the Republican Senators will put him through the ringer during confirmation hearings. If they don’t, I don’t hold out much hope for our side.

How could he “forget” that he was appointed “SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR” and how is that related to a media interview?
