Let’s hope Bush the Socialist stays in Iraq, it’s the only place left on earth that likes him beside Africa, and thet only like him because he stole taxpayers money to give to them.

Against ALL odds this president did the right thing!
He led the front on the War against Islamofascism and terrorism. He kept us safe for 8 years.

Thank you Mr. President! I for one am grateful.

Those that now want to post all the conservative Bush Derangement Syndrome go ahead. “Bush is a socialist” will just be a different version of “Bush Lied”.

God bless George Bush. a man of courage and character.

God bless President Bush and our troops.

They've done a great job keeping us safe by forcing our enemies on defense.

Thank you President Bush! The victory in the war in Iraq has changed forever the Middle East and will help keep us safe for years to come.

They said that it could not be done, and you proved them wrong. Even though the nation did not have the will to prevail in Iraq, you did.

God bless you!

This is exactly the right thing for the President to do. During his two terms, I felt secure in accomplishing a great many things in my life, in the knowledge that an intelligent, knowledgeable, and caring President was at the helm. No retro-active taxes (as the Clintons did), no one witch-hunting me because I stood for policies they disagreed with, we had no "Waco's". I knew that criminals were being pursued. I knew he was no gun grabber. He wasn't going to take my job because I didn't claim a "minority" status. I knew he stood FOR policies which would encourage me to grow my assets. I knew that literacy was a major concern for this administration. The Bush years were a breakthrough of light amid the muggy cloud-storm of Chicago-style politics which surrounded the Clinton administration.

I saw conservatives and libertarians come out of the woodwork, safe in the knowledge they could speak their mind, knowing they wouldn't be prosecuted or "hunted" for their opinions and thoughts.

I'm going to miss this President.

The hateful, hate filled people who are all too prevalent on any thread related to our President have really put a pall on this site.

I wish they could be sent to the same limbo that some Rudy supporters found themselves in last year.

And to think that some of them have the nerve to invoke the spirit of Christmas.

Appalling!

Do I agree with many of his policies? No.
Does he infuriate me with some of his decisions, many of which are the antithesis of conservatism? Yes.

But do I like Bush the man, the person, and wish him and his family all the best? YES.

Have a safe trip, Mr. Bush. Merry Christmas.

Bush could have done A LOT MORE for the troops up to now by telling Murtha/Reid/DNC et al to STFU, prosecuting the MSM for all the treasonous security leaks, and letting the troops fight to win instead of tip-toeing around insurgent-filled mosques and other PC warfare nonsense.

Bush kept us safe for 8 years? HA! Tell that to the thousands of American victims of illegal alien crime each year since 9-11.

It’s nice to see he’s visting the heroes...God only knows their heroism...I hope he will also stop by the embattled Christian communities that have been all but decimated by the assorted Muzzies he so wants to help.

Whatever personal disappointments we've had with his administration, I believe none of us can argue that the man wanted us to be safe and lacking "consensus" from the international community, struck out on his own in order to achieve that goal. He's kept our sorry, ungrateful bums safe for the past 7 years, though honestly, there have been times when I wondered why he even bothered.

He dragged us back out of the depths. Terrorists are running away. I thank God for him, may God bless and keep him.
