Nesbitt, Jarrett, 0, Whitaker

But Pres. Bush was castigated for being insulated .. in a 'bubble' and having several Texans in the WH.

The world and all its known definitions therein are hereinafter c*h*a*n*g*e*d.

Can Obama be impeached before he's inaugarated?

Nah, it's that Constitution thing.

Oh well, maybe he'll just find a better job.

Elsewhere.

What a coincidence. Val who’s also a slumlord (Habitat, Grove Parc), Nesbitt who was the housing guy who shifted stuff to them, Whit who was with IDPH (don’t get me started, that goes with Michelle as well).

You’ll appreciate this one re: TRS board scheme, etc. (notes names in whole article, trust me):

However, on March 14, 2008, during an interview with the Tribune, Obama was finally asked directly: “Did you have discussions with him [Rezko] about either recommendations that you sought for people or recommendations that he was making?”

“I did not have any formal discussions with Tony,” Obama said, “beyond one individual, and that was Dr. Eric Whitaker, who ultimately became the head of the Illinois Department of Public Health and who had been a longtime friend of mine, who I had known since he was getting his master’s at Harvard and I was at the law school there.”

“He had expressed an interest in that post,” Obama informed the Tribune.

“I think he had applied separately,” Obama said, “but I don’t recall whether I called Tony or he called me.”

“And I simply said, ‘I think this guy is outstanding and is certainly somebody who is worthy of an interview,’” he added.

“And was it your understanding that Tony was going to effectuate that?” the Tribune asked.

“No,” Obama said. “What I knew was, and I don’t think this has been disputed, that he was one of a number of people within the Blagojevich circle who were, you know, helping to screen or interview potential candidates for administration posts.”

The job Obama recommended for his friend paid about $150,000 a year. However, Eric Whitaker is now an executive vice-president of the University of Chicago Medical Center, according to [Lynn Sweet in] the March 9, 2008, Sun-Times. That would be the same employer that pays Michelle Obama a salary of close to $350,000 as a vice president.

Everyone must go back and read Operation Board Games, Curtain Time for Obama, Obama Wizard of Oz by Evelyn Pringle. People can not imagine how every single person he associates with is dirty. Scroll right sidebar under ‘Top Posts’:

Psst, did you see the Auchi apology? Guess where this will lead to as well...

OT: How is it no one noticed most of the ‘under the bus’ crowd (Malley, Susan, others), ended right back in and on the hill?

the Obama’s had a “no new friends” rule

It's called a cell. An exceptionally secure way to operate a purposely secret organization.

Good examples would be the WW2 French Resistance, the terrorist group Al Qaeda, and sophisticated criminal enterprises. In addition to the physical security it offers, it advances the legal gambit of plausible deniability to all members of the organization.

Here's a simplified example: The leader has perhaps four cells, each containing five Senior vice presidents plus himself. Each Sr vice president has three to four cells where he directs lieutenants. The lieutants have their own cell's and so on. The security and plausible deniability are achieved by members having minimal or no knowledge of events or identities outside the cells for which they are members.

You'll see more and more evidence Obama has organized himself this way. The current Blaojevich/Obama action is a good example. Obama's staffer(s) may be implicated but nothing will ever be attributed to "the one". What would you expect from a Chicago politician?

Because Mr. Obama, among others, recommended him for the job of state public health director, Dr. Whitaker said, some drew the conclusion that he got the job based on friendship instead of merit.

In Chicago? Never! Everything's based on merit, and never on who you know, and no one's every guilty of "wrongdoing."  Just ask Lynn Sweet:

Five years ago, Obama, then an Illinois state senator, gave a "glowing'' reference for Whitaker to Tony Rezko, the now-convicted political fixer who helped Gov. Blagojevich find people to run state agencies. Blagojevich hired Whitaker to be the state's public health director....

He oversaw the budget of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board, which approves medical construction projects. Rezko and his associates controlled that board, which they used to solicit kickbacks and payoffs, according to testimony at Rezko's trial. Rezko was convicted. Whitaker, who said he wasn't involved in the board's day-to-day operations, was never accused of any wrongdoing....

Whitaker left the state payroll a year ago and joined Obama's wife Michelle as a high-ranking executive at the University of Chicago Medical Center. When he was hired, U. of C. was seeking permission to expand its children's hospital -- one of five expansions the university sought from the state while Whitaker was health director. All were approved by the planning board. Whitaker and the U. of C. said he had nothing to do with those approvals.

And speaking of merit, we know Michelle Obama is just overflowing with that quality, as in:

When Jarrett left the mayor's office for the planning commission, she took her protégé [Michelle Obama] with her. Later, Michelle served as an employee-officer of first the University of Chicago and later the medical center during Jarrett's tenure on both boards. Similarly, as Barack's political ambitions began to gel, Jarrett was on hand with thoughtful counsel--as well.

For more on Vallerie Jarrett's "modest background" (to use the NYT's quaint euphemism) see Meet Valerie Jarrett, Barack Obama's fixer. It's from the leftist New Republic, and even though it's a positive spin on Jarrett, they do describe her as "deep in the heart" of the "Chicago Establishment."  Even TNR hasn't sunk to the depths of dishonesty that the Times has in its mythification of all things Obama.

Unfortunately, this group sounds all about race and payback.
Instead of moving forward; let’s push to punish.

How sad for everyone.
