I'm for Peter J. Roskam. He is has a strong conservative record. Also more importantly he knows how to get elected and isn't afraid to fight. The left hates the guy and it would be rebuke of Obama if he won Obama's old seat.

We don’t need scandals, we need actual conservatives.

It’d be sweet irony to turn that senate seat over to the GOP but I won’t hold my breath.

The Dems are going to do everything in their power to get Bago out and let Lt. Governor Quinn appoint a Dem to the Senate seat. I doubt there will be a special election.

We need new blood; not the run of the mill politicians. We need to vet these people carefully.

Does he work for the Republican family in Chicago that is tied in with Daily? You have to change that.

as a moderate Republican.... ...his ability to motivate low propensity conservative voters of both parties in a special election is nonexistent.

There isn't going to be any special election. Nobody's going to put that seat at risk. The governor will resign without fanfare and Pat Quinn will take over, as if nothing ever happened. The same list of hacks will be used, only this time they'll be 'uniquely qualified'. In a couple months nobody will remember that anything ever happened. BO purges the US attorneys, Rod cuts a deal and everything's back to normal.

In the race to succeed Hitlery, Congressman Peter King is seriously thinking of running.
